Interconnected at a regional level to ensure continuity of care and at a facility level, thanks to the presence of teams close to patients and residents, the Group's facilities provide support for all levels of frailty on a daily basis.
With sales of €609m (at 31/12/2023), the Group’s business in Italy represents 12% of Clariane’s total sales.

Our activities in Italy
Care Homes
In Italy, care for the elderly is provided in 67 care homes, 11 day care centres and more than 7,000 beds throughout the country. The Group’s ‘Dementia Resident Units’ are dedicated to residents suffering from Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, who receive traditional care and non-drug therapies. Day Care Centres assist people who only need care at certain times of the day, offering families assistance in looking after their loved ones.
Healthcare facilities and services
The Group has 14 Care Centres, 14 Rehabilitation Centres, 33 Outpatient Clinics and Diagnostic Centres, 6 Centres for People with Disabilities, 12 Psychiatric Community Clinics and 6 Palliative Care Centres, providing almost 3 million services a year to 500,000 patients in 8 regions of Italy.
Alternative Living Solutions
The Group offers 4 types of home care (rehabilitation, medical and nursing care, social assistance, equipment) and home assistance 7 days a week via its 11 dedicated services, specialising in services for the elderly, people with disabilities, patients with chronic illnesses, and patients requiring palliative care.
The Group offers a range of housing solutions for independent and partially independent elderly people who want comfort and security while benefiting from healthcare, services and facilities with common and social spaces: 126 flats, 2 shared living houses with individual accommodation and shared spaces, 4 residential communities for elderly people able to manage their daily lives almost independently.
