Korian opens a new, 4-specialty medical and rehabilitation clinic in Livry Gargan (93)

Healthcare facilities and services

Korian announces the opening of a major medical and rehabilitation facility in LivryGargan (93). Following the merger of the Sully (already located in Livry Gargan) and Roger Salengro (Noisy le Sec) clinics, this 9,000 m2 clinic has 166 full hospitalisation beds and a 25-place day hospital for new outpatient services. The facility offers geriatric and multi-purpose care, including respiratory rehabilitation and a unit to care for patients suffering from Chronic Vegetative State and Pauci-Relational State (CVS / PRS). It will collaborate closely with all health players in the territory, including the Le Raincy-Montfermeil-Grand Paris Nord Est intercommunal hospital group.

The multidisciplinary care team, which comes from the two original facilities, is made up of 200 employees, including geriatricians, general practitioners, pneumologists and PRMs, as well as a rehabilitation team: masseur-physiotherapists, teachers of adapted physical activities (APA), occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychomotor therapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, dieticians, as well as nurses, care assistants and social workers.

Treatment will be carried out across three spacious technical platforms (850 m2) with state-of-the-art equipment:
• Respiratory rehabilitation platform, with a functional exploration laboratory including a stress test room and equipped for plethysmography, bronchial drainage, and arterial blood gas testing.
• Psychomotricity and occupational therapy platform, including a kitchen and therapeutic bathtub to promote the autonomy of patients returning home. Sophrology and relaxation sessions will also be offered.
• Rehabilitation platform, where patients, guided by physiotherapists and adapted physical activity teachers, will use rehabilitation robots such as imoove, ezygain, treadmills and connected staircases, a balance platform, pressotherapy equipment, a matrix rowing machine, a therapeutic virtual reality device
• Balneotherapy and multi-sensory activity rooms will be designed for VCA/PRT care.

The day hospital also has its own technical platform where the care team will receive patients discharged from hospital (geriatric, multi-purpose and respiratory rehabilitation care), on a half-day basis.

« The Livry-Gargan clinic's care projects were designed in full collaboration with the ARS Ile de France to meet the needs of Seine-Saint-Denis’s and the Ile-de-France region’s inhabitants. Our four specialities allow us to offer well-targeted medical and therapeutic projects, supported by remarkable expertise and equipment. The LivryGargan clinic is becoming one of the major facilities in our health facility network », emphasises Philippe Mendel, Director of Health Operations at Korian France.

The clinic has a high level of comfort to make care pleasant and to promote the quality of life at work for the teams. Its restaurant - which will serve up to 230 covers per service - will benefit both patients and staff.

Temporary spaces for the Inicéa psychiatric day hospital
From July 2022 to April 2023, the Livry Gargan clinic will temporarily lend independent premises to the new Inicéa psychiatric day hospital in Livry Gargan, which is currently under construction. With 20 places, it will have a dedicated team including a psychiatrist (who will also offer outpatient consultations), a care manager, a nurse and a psychologist. Therapeutic education workshops, sophrology sessions and discussion groups will be offered.
