Senior Vice President, Medical, Ethics and Health Innovation

Professor Antoine PIAU, University Professor at the Toulouse University Hospital, is a geriatric specialist in the prevention of ageing. He has worked with the French National Authority for Health (Haute Autorité de Santé) and has contributed to various research projects for the French CNRS and INSERM research institutes, but also as an expert for the European Commission and ORCATECH (the Oregon Centre for Ageing & Technology) in the USA. He was also in charge of several hospital regional initiatives, including the telehealth unit at Toulouse University Hospital and the InnovSanté cluster, a regional structure for public-private partnerships in innovation.

He will also continue to contribute to the IHU Health Age's research projects on digital aspects and new healthcare pathways, in addition to his new duties.
