Clariane and Psychodon: a shared commitment to mental health

Clariane Group

Clariane et le Psychodon agissent en faveur de la santé mentale

Mental health is now a major public health issue, and 2025 marks a decisive step forward with the recognition of the issue as a Grande Cause Nationale (priority status as a national cause by the government) in France. In this context, Clariane is joining forces with Psychodon and supporting the National Mental Health Forum, which will be held on 11 April 2025 in Cannes. This event will bring together experts, caregivers, patients and associations, to raise awareness, get people involved and provide concrete solutions to the challenges posed by mental health issues. Based on public consultation, the Forum will result in the publication of a white paper setting out ten priority issues and key actions to improve the long-term management of mental health in France.

A partnership to advance the cause of mental health

By joining forces with Psychodon, Clariane is strengthening its commitment to a better recognition of mental health issues. This commitment has a twofold objective: to raise awareness among the general public and to promote initiatives that facilitate access to care and support for those affected.

As part of this initiative, Clariane is working alongside the National Mental Health Forum, which will be held on 11 April 2025 in Cannes. This major event will bring together experts, caregivers, patients and associations to discuss ten priority topics for the future of mental health. These topics, which are open to public consultation, will contribute to the development of the mental health white paper, which will present ten key issues and priority actions to be taken.

Psychodon, a key player in raising awareness

Since its creation in 2017, Psychodon has been working to destigmatise mental illness, break taboos and raise funds for research and support of those affected. In 2025, the association is conducting a major public consultation to gather the expectations and proposals of healthcare professionals, caregivers and patients.

Psychodon also provides in-company training and has produced the first awareness-raising advert for early consultation with a psychologist, broadcast on all television and radio channels.

Clariane, a key European player committed to mental health

With a presence in France (Inicea), Spain (Ita Salud Mental, Grupo 5 and Cian) and Italy (Korian Italy), Clariane has developed considerable expertise in the treatment of mental disorders at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence to old age, supporting people suffering from eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and behavioural disorders.

The group has invested significantly to become the third largest private European operator in mental health, strengthening its ability to share best practices and structure a range of care services tailored to patients' needs.
